The GAPS diet was designed by Dr. Natasha Campbell McBride MD as a functional, food based way to restore healthy gut flora , address nutritional deficiencies, naturally detoxify the body, reduce chronic inflammation, and create a foundation for physical and mental health at the root of the person’s immunity – their guts. Dr. Natasha’s work is research based and her UK practice, as well as GAPS doctors and practitioners she has trained all over the world, have successfully treated autism, dyspraxia, schizophrenia, depression, IBS, failure to thrive, IBS, ADD, eczema, hormonal imbalances, and myriad autoimmune conditions using the protocol.
The GAPS protocol involves food and lifestyle modifications that may require individual teaching, in home learning, and consult hours that extends beyond your GAPS practitioner’s scope and time. As a certified GAPS coach, my role is to provide complimentary support to your provider for your maximum success and encouragement – which I offer from my decade of experience, and from a deep and heartfelt desire to be an ambassador of GAPS creating health and hope.
